GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams just released the lead single, Risk, from her highly anticipated sophomore album, The Secret of Us, due out June 21st.
Risk, the bubbly yet incisive track, was co-written with Gracie's longtime friend Audrey Hobert and produced alongside friend and frequent collaborator Aaron Dessner. The new single comes with an accompanying music video, directed by Audrey.
In an Instagram post published earlier this week, Gracie expressed: "💛THE SECRET OF US💛 the album that I made with some of my favorite people (!!!!!!!!!!) is yours JUNE 21 and the first single 💛RISK💛 comes out on MAY 1! We had real, true fun writing this album. There were also the occasional tears. Audrey and I wrote Risk on our couch at home. Aaron produced the shit out of it. Abby shot the cover. The music is yours in basically five seconds and we cannot wait. I. Love. You."
Gracie will return to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (May 8) to perform Risk and to chat about new music and more.
