While accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards this weekend, Taylor Swift announced the release of her new album. The Tortured Poets Department will feature 16 tracks plus a bonus track, including features from Post Malone, and Florence + The Machine.
"I wanna say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years. Which is that my brand new album comes out April 19th. It's called 'The Tortured Poets Department'".
Taylor also accepted the award for Album of the Year, making her the first artist in history to receive the acclaimed award four times – first time for Fearless, then1989, Folklore, and now for Midnights.
The release of her 11th studio album will happen just three weeks before the European leg of The Eras Tour kicks off, leaving fans to speculate if there might be some new surprises and a change in the setlist.
