With this single, we see a dark and passionate side to Paulina, with fresh synths that seem to release a long pent-up bout of frustration. Paulina spoke on the single: "It's the phenomenon of someone close to you becoming a complete stranger. It's haunting, bold, and more angsty than my past songs. It introduces a different side of me, unlocking a new era of music that has been insanely fun to create".

This new version of Paulina seems to be a fun change in pace from her more upbeat and electric songs like best friend off of her debut album, and although it shared similar production alongside her longtime friend and close collaborator Same Merkin, Paulina is only just starting to introduce the world to her unique melodies, and cinematic soundscapes.

Being born and raised in Long Island, New York, the passion for music always seemed to be present for Paulina. Being classically trained in piano at the age of 8, and maintaining a heavy involvement in musical theater, it was only a matter of time before she dove head-first into pursuing music. Paulina attended University of Miami to attend their esteemed Frost School of Music. She then launched her solo pop-project in 2023 with the release of her single best friend. Paulina may be fresh to the scene, but she is surely not one to miss!

Paulina's latest single stranger is out now, and her sophomore album everything's still comes out this summer!
