Brothers Rocky and Ross Lynch wrote Malibu while daydreaming about personal experiences. The song really embodies the feeling of summer and has a catchy beat that makes you want to dance. The band says the song is about reminiscing on experiences in the best locations. "It's about getting away. It's the spontaneous trip you take with someone – maybe you knew them before, or maybe you're meeting them for the first time”.

Formed in 2018, The Driver Era aim to embrace the present moment, creating songs that reflect each experience and feeling as it comes. They have accumulated 300 million streams and have received support from the likes of Notion, Clash and Rolling Stone magazines.

The Driver Era's tour kicks off in August. Get your tickets here.
