Photo Gallery + Review: Hedda Mae live in Oslo, NO

On Saturday evening an excited audience gathered at BLÅ in Oslo. Hedda Mae's mini tour wrapped up in Norway's capital city.

Hedda Mae is not a new name on our radar – we've previously written about her single When The Night Falls, and most recently her second EP The Early Struggles of a Late Millennial. Over the last few years, she's been putting in the hours in the studio with Benjamin Giørtz, working out an original musical style. Her infectious pop is influenced by 00/90's music, and she brings her colourful energy and sassy attitude into the live performance, making it a joy to watch her and dance along.

Along with her as support, she had fijitrip. Mix love, life, and technology, and you get the essence of fijitrip. Their debut EP, Tech, was released in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 to a widespread acclaim and received great enthusiasm internationally. Their latest project, 3D, dropped in June, and earlier this fall they performed at by:Larm, the biggest music conference and festival in Scandinavia. Their sound is electronic-influenced, alternative-experimental peppered with passionate vocals and poignant lines. Joining fijitrip on stage as a special guest on Saturday was artist (and bestie) Falito. <3
