How to apply?

We are always on the lookout for more writers to join our team. If you love music in general – love to discover new artists and music – and if you, in addition, love to write, a writer position on our team might be for you. To apply as a writer, please fill out this form.

We are currently looking to expand our photo team. Portfolio must be linked, and we prefer if you're able to provide an article to accompany the photos you take on assignment for us. To apply as a photographer, please fill out this form.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If approved you'll most likely hear back from us within a few business days.

Please note: Disrupted is run by volunteers and all contributor positions are unpaid at this time.

Requirements

We accept contributors from all over the world. All contributors must be at least 17 years of age (or turn 17 within the end of the year), but please note: to cover live shows you must be 18.

All contributors need be able to contribute on a regular basis.

Photographers must link their portfolio in their application, and we require a certain level of previous experience and skills. If you're interested in a photographer position, you should also be able to write a short article or review to accompany your photos.

Do you accept guest contributors?

Unfortunately we do not accept guest contributors. To photograph and review concerts, or to do interviews on our behalf, we require you to be a part of the team.

On the other hand, we do accept article and photo submissions. You can submit your work to be featured in one of our issues by sending us an email.
